Michael Owen Injury is Season Ending
By Dave NU Blogger | March 5, 2010
Our hapless ex-striker proved once again that he’s more injury prone than the average player. We were used to the frustration and annoyance when our multi-million pound player missed so many matches, often making the difference between a good or bad season. However, Fergie has used the player as we probably should have used him; as a super sub. But even then, the Carling Cup final proved one game too many for Owen and he hobbled off the match soon after scoring the equaliser against Villa. Today it was confirmed that Owen has suffered a hamstring injury that puts him out of the Manchester United squad for the rest of the season. It also reduces his already wafer thin chance of being featured in the World Cup to zero.
We all scratched our heads when Fergie employed Owen but should we be gloating at the latest injury episode? Well, maybe but one thing with some certainty is that Michael Owen will not be playing in a ManU shirt next season.

‘..but one thing with some certainty is that Michael Owen will not be playing in a ManU shirt next season.’
And what evidence do you have for this claim?
