Watford Vs Newcastle United Match Preview
By Dave NU Blogger | February 25, 2010
Newcastle United travel to Watford with a few headaches on the player line up. It’s known that Lovenkrands has suffered an injury set back during training which unfortunately means he’ll stay behind. The extent of his injury is unknown but since coming off the pitch against Preston he was a always looking at being an uncertain participant for this weekend’s clash against the Hornets. Lovenkrands joins a list of players set to miss out including Enrique, Butt and Routledge.
A different story for Andy Carroll who suffered the indignity of going to court on assault charges today. However, he will probably feature anyway on Saturday as the outcome of that trial will be some weeks away.
So what of Watford? They managed to scrap out a convincing win against Bristol City at Vicarage Road recently and they have a good home record. Their away form disappoints and Newcastle finished them off back in December a win and clean sheet.
UPDATE: No new injury news ahead of the game tomorrow. The stats reveal some other gems like against Watford, Newcastle remain unbeaten in six matches. If we win, Newcastle will inflict the first double win against Watford this season:)
If anyone has any suggestions for team line up?
