Steven Taylor Out For Two Months

News that no Newcastle fan wanted to hear but Steven Taylor won’t look likely to be involved in play for at least two months with medial ligament damage. He’s been pretty much the rock in our defence for most of this season but an injury sustained in last week’s clash with West Brom means that he won’t be seeing any action for awhile. It is said that he’ll require no surgery but will take a shed load of physiotherapy to get right.
With a crucial next few months of matches, I’d presume that the two new loan signings today would cover for Taylor whilst he mends. Hughton must have known he’d have long term worries at the back hence the rapid transfer activity today.
