New Arrivals At St James’ Park: Patrick van Aanholt & Fitz Hall

News just broke that Chelsea left back, Patrick van Aanholt on a one-month loan deal. A very short loan spell for this young 19 year old. He’s spent much of the season at Conventry City.
This loan deal comes off the back of another recent deal for defender, Fitz Hall. The Queens Park Pangers player will be with us to the end of the season. At 6ft 4ins, the giant will be no doubt a formidable barrier for opposing players.
It seems defence is a real concern for Hughton at the moment and we’ve been a little leaky recently. No doubt these two and Williamson will assist our efforts to plug any gaps.
