Newcastle Must Do Better
Friday, April 24th, 2009Pre-Portsmouth match talk has been dominated by Michael Owen’s lack of activity of the goal scoring kind. Chris Hughton dropped our hapless striker a couple of times in previous matches and got no returns. Shearer insists that Owen starts every match and still not much joy there. With such a tough start, things will get tougher with Stoke and Tottenham to beat to at least secure some kind of confidence in the team for the remaining 5 games after.
